One saint, beautifully told

Each issue is a printed mini-magazine on a single saint: life, historical setting, symbols, feast day, art and culture, and a short reflection. Reverent and readable, never a box of trinkets.

A gift that keeps arriving

Ideal for godparents and grandparents, Confirmation and First Communion, converts and Catholic-school families. Gift plans are one-time and never renew.

Historically careful

We separate what the Church officially recognizes and what the record shows from devotional tradition, and say plainly which is which. Our sources →

Our gift to you: a whole free issue on Saint Nicholas of Myra, the real 4th-century bishop behind Santa Claus, and the patron of giving in secret. Flip through it or download the PDF. This is exactly what lands in the mailbox.

Every plan is a single purchase: nothing renews and nothing bills again, so a gift is a gift, not a standing charge. Want it to carry on? Buy again any time and the issues pick up where they left off.

A gift for a godchild, all year

Give the year and they receive twelve saints, one a month, each a small, beautiful thing to read and keep. Issues mail at the start of each month, and your note goes inside the first one.

Questions, before you give it

What arrives each month?

One printed saint-story issue (a small mini-magazine) and one collectible 4×6 saint card, mailed in a cream envelope. Sometimes a seasonal insert. One saint per issue.

Is this a box of stuff?

No. It is a focused, collectible reading experience: good mail, not trinkets. Reverent, beautiful, and made to keep on a shelf.

Is it for kids or for adults?

Both. It is family-readable but never babyish, and reverent and readable for adults, and a lovely gift for godchildren and Catholic-school families.

Does the gift subscription renew?

No. Every plan is a single, one-time purchase that ends on its own, so there is nothing to cancel. Grandparents and godparents can give a fixed gift with no standing charge.

When does the first issue ship?

Issues mail at the beginning of each month. Order any time and the first issue goes out at the start of the following month, beginning with No. I.

Are the stories historically sourced?

Yes. Each issue lists its sources and marks whether a fact is officially recognized by the Church, historically documented, or part of devotional tradition. See our sources.

Can Catholic schools or parishes order packs?

Yes, classroom and parish packs are handled by hand at first. Write to hello@saintsbymail.com and we will set it up.

What if an issue is lost or damaged?

Tell us before the next issue mails and we will send a replacement. Moving? Send the new address the same way.
